Curtis Fry

Curtis Fry is the Director of Regional Engineering at Lake Superior Consulting, LLC.

Curtis Fry has over 25 years of experience in the engineering and operations field. Curtis started their career as an Engineering Manager at AUMA Actuators, Inc., where they were responsible for acquiring product certifications through third party reviews. Curtis then became the Vice President of Engineering & Operations, where they managed all facets of design engineering and operations including time approval, department budget preparation, expense approval, resource allocation, annual performance reviews, resource acquisition, and implementation of engineering led initiatives. Curtis was also responsible for overall operations including production, machining, shipping, and logistics.

During their time at AUMA Actuators, Inc., Curtis collaborated with the parent company in Germany to facilitate design plans,design enhancements, and production methods associated with electro-mechanical valve actuators. Curtis also performed value engineering and cost saving analysis associated with the design and manufacture of electro mechanical valve actuators.

Curtis is a member of the Executive Management Team tasked with managing the daily operations of the organization and developing the overall business strategy for the business.

Curtis Fry has a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Point Park University, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Point Park University, and an Associate of Science Degree in Electronics from Penn Technical Institute. Curtis also has certification from the State of New Mexico as a Professional Engineer, the State of Ohio as a Professional Engineer, the State of Oregon as a Professional Engineer, the State of Colorado as a Professional Engineer, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Professional Engineer, the State of California as a Professional Engineer, the State of West Virginia as a Professional Engineer, the State of Georgia as a Professional Engineer, the State of New York as a Professional Engineer, and the State of Delaware as a Professional Engineer.

Curtis Fry reports to David Hokanson, VP, Engineering Services. Curtis Fry works with Joe Nielsen - Director, Facilities Engineering, Paul Spielbauer - Manager, Weld Engineering, and Aaron Perrault - Director, Pipeline Engineering.
