Michael Beazley

Michael Beazley is the current Dean of Student Affairs at Lake Superior State University. Prior to their current position, Beazley served as the Dean of Rome Student Life at Loyola University Chicago from August 2010 to June 2019. In this role, Beazley was the Chief Student Affairs Officer at the oldest American university program in Rome and managed the Rome Student Life annual budget of $1 million. Beazley also oversaw diversity initiatives through immersive community service and travel, identified and partnered with physical and mental health providers to ensure student wellness, and adjudicated student conduct and appeals.

Prior to their time at Loyola University Chicago, Beazley served as the Penn Abroad Events Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2007 to May 2008. In this role, Beazley was responsible for coordinating and planning events for Penn students studying abroad.

Beazley has a wealth of experience in higher education administration and student affairs. Michael has demonstrated their ability to manage budgets, staff, and programs effectively and has a proven track record of developing successful relationships with faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
