Science Teacher At South Tahoe High School at Lake Tahoe Unified School Dist

Rachel Friedman is an experienced Science Teacher currently serving at South Tahoe High School within the Lake Tahoe Unified School District since August 2018. Previously, Rachel taught at Chaffee County High School from August 2013 to August 2018, offering a diverse range of science classes and leading wilderness trips for students. Additionally, Rachel contributed as an Adjunct Faculty member at Colorado Mountain College during the same timeframe, teaching courses related to Environmental Science. Earlier roles include serving as Town Engineer for the Town of Buena Vista from 2009 to 2012 and as River and Watershed Coordinator for the City of Santa Fe from 2007 to 2009. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Water Resources from The University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Water Resources from the University of Colorado Boulder.
