Simons John

Simons John has had an extensive career in education, starting in 2001 as a Vice Principal at Cardozo Middle School. Simons then moved on to Oakdale Junior High School, where they worked as both a Vice Principal from 2005 to 2008, and as the Principal from 2008 to 2015. In 2015, John became the Principal of South Tahoe Middle School. Their most recent positions include Director of Secondary Education and Director of Human Resources at Lake Tahoe Unified School District, starting in 2021.

Simons John pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1987, they enrolled at Humboldt State University and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General in 1992. After that, they attended Brandman University, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General. In 2017, Simons John attended the Association of California School Administrators and completed the Personnel Administrators Academy.
