Spencer Moffatt Ph.D.

Spencer Moffatt PhD, MDiv, is a dedicated professional in the field of spiritual care and education with extensive experience in hospice, pediatric care, and academic settings. Currently serving as a Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator at Lake Valley Hospice, Spencer engages in spiritual care assessments and develops bereavement programs to support patients and their families. Previous roles include Clinical Spiritual Care Fellow at Riley Children's Health and Professor of Theology at St. Catherine University, where Spencer implemented innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning. With a strong educational background, including a PhD in Systematic Theology from Luther Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary-St. Paul, Spencer contributes to the development of spiritual care practices and interdisciplinary collaboration in healthcare environments.
