Ronald E. Schwarz

Ronald E. Schwarz is the SEVP & Chief Operating Officer at Lakeland Bank. Prior to this, they were with Sovereign Bank from June 2006 to April 2009 as their Executive Vice President, responsible for all aspects of 79 branch network in Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Morris, Sussex, Middlesex and Union counties. Schwarz has also been with Independence Community Bank from January 1997 to June 2006 as their Regional President and with Hudson United Bank from January 1995 to December 1997 as their District Manager.

Ronald E. Schwarz began their educational career at Manchester Regional High School. Ronald then attended college at ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

They are on a team with Thomas F. Splaine - EVP & Chief Financial Officer, Jenifer Thoma - EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Steve Ackmann - Executive Vice President. Ronald E. Schwarz reports to Thomas J. Shara, President and Chief Executive Officer .
