Rory Farrell

Rory Farrell is an experienced sustainability professional with over two decades in the dairy sector, currently serving as Group Head of Sustainability at Lakeland Dairies since January 2001. Previous roles include Environmental Manager and Central Environmental Coordinator within the same company, as well as Chair of the Environment and Energy Working Group at Dairy Industry Ireland from January 2011 to December 2021. Early career experience includes a position as an MSc Research Intern at the Environment Agency in 2000. Rory Farrell holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from the University of Galway, an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, and has completed various programs, including the Leaders Sustainability Acceleration Programme at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Higher Diploma in Business Administration from the Irish Management Institute. Additionally, a short course in Environmental Policy was completed at Boston College in 2009.
