Ken Murphy Ma, Bcpc

Ken Murphy, MA, BCPC has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Ken currently serves as the Executive Director for the Office of the Senior Pastor at Lakepointe Church, overseeing various campus locations in the Dallas Metroplex. Prior to this, Ken founded their own coaching and consulting business called Pursue Life | Ken Murphy Coaching & Consulting. Ken also worked as the Senior Director of Church Engagement at Buckner International, where they focused on building collaborative relationships and strategic partnerships with local churches. Ken is a Certified LifePlan Guide and was involved with the Paterson Center, helping individuals find clarity and purpose in their lives. Ken has also volunteered with UNITE Greater Dallas, advocating for vulnerable children and families. Ken has extensive pastoral experience, having served as the Pastor of Ministry Development & Leadership at Pinelake Church and as the Lead Pastor at Stonecreek Church. Additionally, they held the position of President & Chairman at Caring Hands at the Madison Care Center, Inc., a medical and dental clinic providing care to the uninsured and vulnerable in Mississippi.

Ken Murphy, MA, BCPC completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Specialist at Baylor University from 1988 to 1992. Ken then pursued their Master of Arts degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1992 to 1995. Ken also holds additional certifications including being a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor (BCPC) obtained in February 2020 from the American Association of Christian Counselors (IBCC). Ken is also a SYMBIS Pre-Marital Coach, having obtained the certification in April 2019. Furthermore, Ken is a Certified Facilitator for the Paterson LifePlan, which they obtained in April 2014 from the Paterson Center.
