Steven Savitz

Steven Savitz has extensive experience in financial and accounting roles. Steven began their career as an Experienced Staff Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1987. Steven then worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at Paine Webber from 1989 to 1990. Savitz joined NCR Corporation in 1992 as the Director of Channel Operations. From 1999 to 2006, they served as the Controller for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America divisions of Dell Inc. Steven then joined Best Buy as the Senior Director/Best Buy Services, where they supported multiple P&Ls and oversaw revenue and labor management. Savitz was the Vice President/Corporate Controller at Gander Mountain from 2016 to 2017, responsible for accounting, real estate, treasury, tax, accounts payable, and merchant financial planning. Steven then became the VP Finance/Controller at Camping World dba Gander Outdoors in 2017, leading the finance and accounting function for the new Gander Outdoor Retail concept and establishing an online business model. Currently, Savitz serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Lakes Gas Co., a leading provider of propane in the Midwest region.

Steven Savitz completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in accounting at Texas A&M University from 1983 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on finance and marketing at Penn State University from 1990 to 1992.
