Marc Sorensen

Marc Sorensen has over 25 years of work experience, with a focus on operations management. Marc currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations at Lakeshirts. Previously, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Director at Shearer's Snacks. Before that, from 2018 to 2019, they served as a Plant Manager at Conagra Brands. Marc also had a significant role as a Plant Manager at Angie's BOOMCHICKAPOP from 2017 to 2019, where they successfully led the company through a period of growth and oversaw important capital projects. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2017, Marc worked at SunOpta, where they held various positions including Vice President of Operations - Healthy Snacks, Plant Manager, and Director of Operations. At SunOpta, they gained extensive experience in managing multiple plants and overseeing diverse processes. From 2000 to 2005, they served as a Facility Operations Manager at Target, where they were responsible for the safe and efficient operation of distribution centers. Marc's earlier career includes a role as Chief Operating Officer at DEE Incorporated, where they quickly advanced through the organization and gained expertise in aluminum foundry and machining operations.

Marc Sorensen obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, attending from 1989 to 1995.
