Director, Learning And Development at Lakeshore Learning

Stephanie Goodman has a diverse work experience. Stephanie started their career at Alain Leroy Locke High School as a Special Educator from August 2005 to July 2007. Stephanie then worked at Green Dot Public Schools as a Special Educator from August 2007 to July 2008, providing support services to students and maintaining a Learning Center. Stephanie later joined Teach For America where they held multiple roles including Program Director, Manager of Teacher Leadership Development, and Director of Special Education, from July 2008 to June 2017. In these roles, they managed and supported teachers to improve student outcomes and close the achievement gap.

From 2013 onwards, Stephanie also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University, where they designed curriculum, conducted student advisement, and evaluated student mastery of material.

Most recently, Stephanie joined Lakeshore Learning Materials in January 2022 as the Director of Learning and Development.

Stephanie Goodman earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University between 2016 and 2019. Prior to that, they achieved a Masters Degree and Teaching Credential in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University from 2005 to 2007. Stephanie's undergraduate education was completed at the University of Washington from 2001 to 2005, where they received a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish.
