Jermaine Carter has a robust background in healthcare and education, currently serving as the Lead Medical Support Assistant at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs since March 2021, with prior roles including Healthcare Analyst and Medical Support Assistant. With experience dating back to 2012 at Lakeside Behavioral Health System as a Community Counselor, Jermaine provides therapeutic support and crisis intervention while assessing patient needs. Additional experience includes working as an Admissions Counselor at Memphis Job Corps Center, a Family Engagement Specialist at Memphis Academy of Health Sciences High School, and an Instructional Assistant at Greendot Public School. Jermaine holds a Bachelor of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation from Langston University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Ranger College.
