Terrie Starling

Terrie Starling has over 30 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Terrie currently serves as the Human Resources Director at Lakeside Behavioral Health System, where they are responsible for developing policies and procedures, coordinating HR activities, and providing support to managers. Prior to this role, Terrie worked as the Employment Team Leader at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the Associate Director of Human Resources at Southwest Tennessee Community College, and the Human Resources Director at Christ Community Health Services Memphis. Terrie also held the position of Human Resources Manager at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and Assistant VP of HR at Family Health Centers of South West Florida. Additionally, Terrie has previous experience as an HR Manager at Home Depot, an HR Performance Consultant at Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics, and a Recruitment Specialist/HR Generalist at FedEx Express. Throughout their career, Terrie has demonstrated expertise in areas such as employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, leadership development, and performance management. Terrie has a strong track record of aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals.

Terrie Starling holds a Master's degree in HR Management from Nova Southeastern University, which they obtained between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, they earned a BS degree in Management/Marketing from Union University, from 1985 to 1989. In addition to their degrees, Terrie Starling also holds certification as an SPHR from HRCI, which they obtained in June 2002.
