Rex Sarmiento

Rex Sarmiento, MD, serves as the Deputy Research Lead and Clinical Research Physician at Lakeside Healthcare since March 2019. With extensive experience in clinical research, Rex Sarmiento has previously held positions at MeDiNova Research, MAC Clinical Research, and Synexus Clinical Research Ltd. Prior roles include work as a Foundation 2 Senior House Officer at NHS - University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust and various senior house officer positions in Accident & Emergency and Ophthalmology. Rex Sarmiento's education includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, a PGCert in Clinical Pharmacology from King's College London, and currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Trials at the University of Birmingham.
