Joe Zimmer

Joe Zimmer has a diverse work experience. Joe started their career as a Research Assistant for the Graduate Admissions Research Project in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Controls Engineering Intern at ZF Friedrichshafen, where they supported Calibration and Controls Engineers with software tools and also created an app for project hour logging. Joe continued their internship at ZF Friedrichshafen as a Calibration/Controls Engineering Intern until 2017. Since 2017, Joe has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Lakeside Software, where they develop and maintains full stack .NET Web Applications and focuses on RESTful API and relational databases. Joe efficiently resolves customer bugs and issues and has experience working in an Agile development environment.

Joe Zimmer attended Detroit Country Day High School from 2009 to 2013. After completing high school, they went on to study at the University of Michigan from 2013 to 2017. At the University of Michigan, Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) with a major in Computer Science.
