Stephen Nann

Stephen Nann has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Stephen started their career as a Real Time Software Engineer at Boeing in 2005. In this role, they worked on developing various software systems for the Apache Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT).

In 2006, Stephen transitioned to the role of a Software Engineer at Boeing, where they gained expertise in ADA and C++ training simulation software. Stephen focused on integrating Sights and Sensors, Aircraft Survivability Equipment, Visual System, and Threat Server into the LCT. Stephen also collaborated with CAE Inc. to create new threat models and behaviors for training purposes.

In 2009, Stephen became the Software Technical Lead Engineer of the Synthetic Environments IPT within Boeing Training Systems & Government Services. Stephen led the development of the US Army One Semi-Automated Forces (OneSAF) distributed computer simulation for Apache Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) integration.

After their tenure at Boeing, Stephen joined Lakeside Software in 2014 as a Software Engineer. Stephen was responsible for Javascript and .NET development of web applications for Data Visualization and Analysis. Additionally, they contributed to the development of end-user data collection and monitoring software for workspace analytics, utilizing C++ and C#.

In 2005, Stephen worked as a Software Engineer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. During their time there, they worked on developing autonomous navigation and docking software using proximity inputs from various sensors.

Stephen Nann pursued their education in the field of Computer Engineering. Stephen completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. After that, they went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis between the years 2006 and 2008.
