Denise Andrews, BS, RDMS, RVT, BHCN, currently serves as a Breast Health Navigator at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, a role undertaken since May 2016 after transitioning from a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer position. With over 12 years of ultrasound experience and personal insights gained from breast cancer, Denise effectively guides patients through imaging, diagnosis, and the initiation of treatment. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Intermountain Healthcare from November 2009 to May 2016. Denise holds a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology from West Liberty University (1980-1984) and pursued further education at Salt Lake Community College (2008-2010).
