Osvaldur Knudsen

Osvaldur Knudsen is the current CEO of Laki Power, a position they have held since January 2020.

Previously, they served as the Chief Financial Officer of Reykjavik Excursions from January 2017 to January 2020.

Prior to that, they were a co-founder of SagaVista, a company that offers drone hiking tours to volcano trails near Iceland's capital Reykjavik, from January 2016 to January 2018.

From January 2014 to January 2016, they were the Chief Financial Officer of OZ.

From January 2011 to January 2014, they served as the Head of Treasury at Íslandsbanki.

From January 2009 to January 2011, they were the Deputy Managing Director at the Central Bank of Iceland Asset Management Company.

And finally, from January 2006 to January 2009, they were the Head of Treasury at Reykjavik Savings Bank (SPRON).

Osvaldur Knudsen attended Háskóli Íslands / University of Iceland for their Computer Science degree. Osvaldur then went on to attend Babson College - Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business for their Master of Business Administration (MBA). Before that, they completed a BS in Business from Háskóli Íslands. Osvaldur also has a certification from HackerRank in Python Programming.
