Venkatramanan Balasubramanian is an experienced legal professional specializing in tax advisory and litigation. Currently serving as an Associate Partner and Principal Associate at Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys since April 2018, Venkatramanan has extensive involvement in both Indirect and Direct Taxes, including complex High Court litigation. Previous roles include Senior Associate and Associate at the same firm, where responsibilities spanned consulting, litigation, and GST-related issues. Prior to this, Venkatramanan gained experience at PwC as an Associate focused on GST assignments in the Auto Sector and worked as an Article Assistant at MS Krishnaswamy & Rajan Chartered Accountants, specializing in tax and audit. Venkatramanan holds a Chartered Accountant degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation from the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
