Ying Wu

Ying Wu is a Technical Director and Product Engineer at Lam Research, specializing in the development and characterization of innovative hardware and technology solutions for conductor etch processes since January 2011. Prior experience includes a position as a Postdoc at Oxford Instruments, where efforts focused on cryogenic SF6-O2 plasma etching for sub-20 nm silicon trenches in 2010. Ying Wu also contributed to radiofrequency ion source development and compact neutron generator design as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2006 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
