Amber Adams

Amber Adams, DNP, RN, CEN, is an accomplished nursing professional with extensive experience in both academia and clinical settings. Currently serving as an adjunct and assistant professor at Lamar University since August 2017, Amber has also contributed as a nurse item writer for Bootcamp.com and as a section editor for the Journal of Emergency Nursing since early 2020. With a nursing career that began in 2005, Amber has held various roles including registered nurse at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas and Neighbors Emergency Center, and clinical liaison at Harbor.Hospice. Amber's impressive educational background includes a Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Master of Science in Nursing from Lamar University.
