Gerard Jansen

Gerard Jansen currently serves as VP and Deputy General Counsel for Lamb Weston, overseeing legal operations across EMEA, LATAM, APAC, and China since June 2023. Previously, Gerard held the position of General Counsel at Lamb Weston / Meijer V.O.F. from July 2008 to May 2023, where responsibilities included legal oversight for a joint venture between Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. and the Meijer Group. Earlier experience includes serving as Advocaat at Adriaanse van der Weel, focusing on Dutch and international business contracts and technology licensing, and as Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at Advanta Group, emphasizing international M&A and corporate restructuring. Gerard also worked as Senior Legal Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Nationale-Nederlanden from 1989 to 2001, covering various legal areas. Gerard Jansen holds a degree in Civil Law from Leiden University and completed professional training at the Dutch Bar Association.
