Owen Deering is a junior at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Currently serving as the elected Treasurer for Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, they manage budgeting, financial planning, and reporting. Owen’s previous experience includes working as a salesman at Alder Creek Kayak & Canoe, where they honed their customer service skills, and as an assistant to a project manager at IBuildPDX, developing analytical and organizational abilities. With a passion for finance and accounting, Owen seeks to enhance their expertise through academic coursework and practical experiences, aspiring to obtain certifications such as CPA and CFA to advance their career.
