John Pothier

John Pothier has diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. John is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Lambda since November 2021. Alongside this, they are also the Founder of scribbo.app, a platform for writing novels and short stories, since July 2021.

Previously, John worked at iZotope, Inc. where they held multiple roles. John started as a Software Engineer in July 2016 and developed firmware and mobile applications for their Spire Studio product. Later, they became a Senior Software Engineer from February 2019 to June 2021, and finally a Staff Software Engineer from June 2021 to July 2021.

Before iZotope, John worked at Yesware from August 2015 to July 2016 as a Software Engineer. John was responsible for developing an Outlook add-in and adding features to the Yesware backend.

Prior to that, John worked at Microsoft from July 2014 to July 2015 as a Software Engineer, focusing on developing and testing Office 365 applications.

John also has experience working as an On-Call Tutor at Tufts University from September 2013 to May 2014, where they provided tutoring services in various math subjects. Additionally, John worked as a Research Assistant at Tufts University in the summer of 2013, conducting machine learning research and developing mathematical frameworks and algorithms.

John started their career as a Development Intern at Eze Software Group from June 2012 to January 2013, where they worked on debugging server and client-side code and conducted performance analysis on their financial trading platform.
