Gaurav Bansal

Gaurav Bansal is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development, currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff - Backend Engineer at LambdaTest since December 2023. Gaurav previously held key positions, including Senior Software Engineer at WhiteHat Jr, where responsibilities included leading the backend team for Byju’s Math Companion, and Backend Software Engineer at BYJU'S, focusing on NodeJS technology infrastructure. Additional experience includes backend engineering roles at Toppr, where Gaurav developed a Golang service for virtual currencies and earned recognition awards, and an internship at the Data Security Council of India. Gaurav also founded the Cyber Security Department at the Coding Club, IIT Jammu, and has a background in research, having co-designed a searchable encryption scheme during a research internship at the Indian Statistical Institute. Gaurav holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Additionally, Gaurav has a background in Hindustani classical music, holding a senior diploma and playing harmonium for over nine years.
