Hope Sylva

Research Scientist at LambdaVision

Hope Sylva began their work experience in 2009 as a Lead Teacher at Kids and Co. Hope then worked as a Food and Beverage Server at Margaritas Mexican Restaurant from 2013 to 2016. From 2013 to 2016, they also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Mitchell College. Hope then moved on to Wesleyan University, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2016 to 2019, and later became a Laboratory Manager from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, Hope worked as a Research Assistant 2 at the University of Connecticut, where they focused on studying chemosensory neurons and their function in Drosophile olfaction. Currently, in 2022, they are a Research Scientist at LambdaVision, Inc.

Hope Sylva completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Science at Mitchell College from 2012 to 2016. Hope then pursued a Master's degree in Biology/Neuroscience at Wesleyan University from 2016 to 2019.
