D. Scott Crabtree

Mr. Crabtree has worked in health care Administration since 1982. Prior to joining BSI, he managed a New Orleans retirement community for over 11 years. He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Tennessee and completed postgraduate business courses at Loyola University in New Orleans. He currently serves on the boards of the Louisiana Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators, the Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Review Committee, and the Gulf States Association of Homes and Services for Aging, as well as numerous associations related to community services for aging and disabilities. Mr. Crabtree is an outdoor enthusiast who is also active in various community groups with one favorite — serving as the team captain for a large cycling team that fundraises for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. He is a member of St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church, where he has served as an elder. Mr. Crabtree is currently on the board of directors for Bridge House, Inc. and is a former board member of Grace House, Inc. and St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
