Gerard Solé

Gerard Solé is currently the Backend Director at Kidoodle.TV® since February 2024. Prior to this role, Gerard held positions at Laminar Global and Rakuten TV as the Head of Backend and Streaming and Senior Video Engineer, respectively. With a background in software engineering and research, Gerard has experience in backend development, media encoding, DRM licensing, and network protocols. Gerard holds a Master's degree in Applied Telecommunications and Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
