Paula Fernández García

Paula Fernández García began their work experience in 2008 as a Pre-doctoral Researcher at the Universidad de Oviedo. Paula then moved on to Laminar Pharma in 2012, where they held various roles. These roles included Senior Scientist from October 2016 to November 2018, Head of Scientific Area for Oncology Research & Biomarker discovery from November 2018 to March 2020, and Chief Scientific Officer from March 2020 to the present. Prior to joining Laminar Pharma, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Biomedicine of UIB and Lipopharma Therapeutics S.L. from November 2012 to October 2016.

Paula Fernández García completed their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the Universidad de Oviedo in 2006. Paula then pursued an Advance Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, specializing in the structure and function of proteins, from the Universidad de Zaragoza from 2008 to 2010. In 2008, they also began their Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Universidad de Oviedo, which was completed in 2012. Recently, from 2017 to 2020, Paula Fernández García obtained a Master's degree in Bionformatics and Biostatistics from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
