Laurel King

Laurel King is the current Quality Assurance Manager at LANAKILA PACIFIC. Laurel has previous experience as a Project Manager from October 2010 to October 2015 at Pacific Health Research & Education Institute, a Program Manager from July 2009 to October 2010 at Hawaiya Technologies, Inc., and a Research Project Manager/NSF Grant Co-Investigator from January 2007 to July 2009 at RCUH. Laurel also has experience as a Lecturer from August 2006 to December 2006 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where they taught several writing intensive courses in Business Ethics. Finally, Laurel was an Assistant Specialist from July 1995 to June 2005 at the University of Hawaii at Manoa Shidler College of Business where they held several positions managing the Academy of International Business headquarters, assistant director of the Executive MBA program, and directed alumni affairs.

Dr. Laurel King earned their PhD in Communication & Information Sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Laurel also holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Hull, and a BA in Asian Studies (Economics) from Carleton College.

Their manager is Rona Yagi Fukumoto, President & CEO. Laurel King works with Kathleen Racuya-Markrich - Director of HR, Karen Wong - VP of Administration, and Reid Yasunaga - Director of Food Service.
