Mike McDonnell is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in nature and wellbeing initiatives. Currently serving as the Nature & Wellbeing Project Officer at The Bay: A blueprint for recovery since September 2021, Mike also holds a similar role at Lancashire Wildlife Trust since August 2017. Previous positions include Head Ranger at Argaty Red Kites and various roles with RSPB, including Red Kite and Hen Harrier Project Officer. Mike's early career involved roles as a Countryside Ranger and Forestry Surveyor, coupled with a foundational education in Environmental Land Management from the University of Central Lancashire.
