Isaiah Rufus

Isaiah Rufus has a range of experience in the sports industry, starting in 2016 as a Tennis Instructor for the Rodney Street Tennis Association. Isaiah then moved on to become the Head Coach at Wilmington Friends School in 2019 until 2021. At the same time, they worked as an Assistant Tennis Professional at Kennett Square Golf and Country Club from 2019 to 2023. Following this, they took on the role of a Tennis Coach at Avon Grove High School from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they serve as the Head Racquets Professional at Lancaster Country Club starting from 2023.

Isaiah Rufus completed their education from 2015 to 2019 at the University of Delaware, where they pursued a Coaching Science minor with a focus on Sports and Exercise. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same university during the same period.

Isaiah Rufus also holds several certifications in the field of sports and coaching. In January 2023, they obtained the Tennis Performance Trainer (TPT) certification from the International Tennis Performance Association (ITPA). Prior to that, in November 2020, they became a Level 1 Certified Tennis Coach through the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR). Furthermore, in October 2019, they attained the USA PPTA - Platform Tennis Professional certification from USPTA & PTR.
