John Shaffer

John Shaffer has been with Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health since June 2007, where current responsibilities include serving as the Director of IS Shared Services. Previous positions at the organization encompass Associate Director for Applications and Unified Communications, Manager of Administrative and Financial Systems, Supervisor of Financial Applications, and System Administrator. Key duties involve overseeing the technical aspects of the administrative ERP (Lawson), the enterprise Time and Attendance system (KRONOS), and various ancillary systems. Prior to this role, John worked at VNA Community Care Services from November 2000 to June 2007 as a Senior PPS Billing Clerk, managing Medicare reimbursements and providing support for financial and clinical applications. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Albright College and an Associate of Science in Mathematics/Computer Science from HACC.
