Chris Ford

Chris Ford is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting & Management at Lancaster University, a position held since September 2015, focusing on research, teaching, and supporting collaborative innovation programs with businesses and policymakers. In addition, Chris serves as a Business Committee Member for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, contributing to the alignment of the institute's direction with business member needs. Chris is also a Governing Committee Member and Trustee at the Management Control Association. Previously, Chris was the Managing Director at CycleActive, delivered leadership training for Scottish Cycling and British Cycling, and worked as a Manager in Deloitte's Corporate Recovery division. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Accounting and Finance, an Executive MBA, and professional credentials as a Chartered Accountant.
