Lyea Rivers is currently serving as a Public Health Education, Research & Prevention Intern at the Cayman Islands National Drug Council since July 2025. In addition, Lyea is actively engaged at Lancaster University as a Science Communicator, Digital Ambassador Leader, and Content Creator, while also leading the Young Professionals Global Pathway Project. Previous experience includes roles as Acting Secretary to the Education Council and Personal Assistant to the Chief Officer at the Cayman Islands Ministry of Education from July 2019 to September 2022, as well as internships in restructuring at EY in both 2017 and 2018. Lyea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Information Technology and is pursuing a BSc in Earth & Environmental Science at Lancaster University, with an educational foundation that includes an Associate's degree in Business Administration from the University College of the Cayman Islands.
