Martin McAinsh is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in biology and environmental sciences. Currently serving as the Director of Undergraduate Biology at Lancaster University since 2019, Martin previously held the position of Reader at the Lancaster Environment Centre from February 2004 to 2019. Martin's career at Lancaster University also includes a role as a Senior Lecturer from October 1992 to January 2004. Earlier, Martin was a Royal Society University Research Fellow and a Lecturer at The University of Edinburgh from October 1991 to September 1992. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of Sussex and Trinity School.
