Kholeka Sopotela

Kholeka Sopotela is a Senior Medical Scientist with extensive experience in cytogenetics, currently employed at Lancet Laboratories since October 2012. Responsibilities include sample processing, diagnostic testing on various specimens, karyotyping, and chromosomal analysis, all conducted in strict adherence to standard operating procedures. Previous roles at NHLS and the Institute of Genetic Medicine involved oversight of laboratory operations, staff training, and quality assurance measures. Kholeka holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Human Genetics from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Botany from Walter Sisulu University.
