Raphaël Meyer

Raphaël Meyer began their career in 2007 as Public Relations and Project Manager for Junior Entreprise EPFL. In 2009, they were the Representative of EPFL students for AGEPoly - DAF. In 2010, they completed an internship master project for Samsung Electronics. In 2011, they began their PhD preparation for SOITEC - CEA Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives. In 2013, they co-founded BeyondLab. In 2016, they became the CEO & Co-founder at Lancey Energy Storage, where they worked to provide an efficient and intelligent heater with an integrated battery that decreases energy bills, allows more clean energy integration, and helps limit CO2 emission. This work resulted in the BEST of INNOVATION award at CES2018 in 18 months.

Raphaël Meyer obtained a Baccalauréat from Lycée François 1er Fontainebleau in 2006. Raphaël then earned a Master in Material Sciences from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) in 2011. Raphaël completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon in 2015.
