Russell Stoltman has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Russell started their career as an intern at a company specializing in planters and tillage product validation and component testing. Russell then worked as an intern in 4WD tractor engineering, quality, and reliability before being hired as a design engineer in 4WD track systems engineering. After completing several successful projects, they received their first patent. Russell then moved up the ranks and became a lead project engineer and program manager, overseeing projects in engineering and manufacturing. Later, they became an engineering manager, leading a team of engineers and managing vehicle integration. Russell was then promoted to director of engineering, chief engineer for 4WD tractor product engineering. After that, they became a senior director of global engineering for large tractor and compact tractor products, where they led a global cross-functional engineering team. Russell'snext position was director of engineering, outdoor power equipment at Milwaukee Tool, where they built and led a diverse start-up engineering team. Currently, they work at Lanco Group of Companies as the VP of Engineering, responsible for leading engineering across various companies within the group. Additionally, they have also worked as a freelance business and engineering consultant at Stoltman Consulting.
Russell Stoltman has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering & Machinery Design from North Dakota State University. Russell also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Investments and Asset Derivatives from the same university.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Russell has obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Foundations and Six Sigma: White Belt, both from LinkedIn. The certifications were acquired in June 2023.
