Aiden Wiechula RPF

Head of Forestry at Land Life Company

Aiden Wiechula RPF has over 16 years of experience in the forestry industry. In 2023, they will be joining Land Life as Head of Forestry. From 2019 to present, they have been a part-time instructor at the University of Northern British Columbia for forest economics and forest practices and management courses. Before that, they worked at Strategic Natural Resource Consultants as a regional manager from 2021 to 2023, and Pacific BioEnergy Corp as a forestry planner from 2019 to 2021. Aiden also worked at Conifex Timber Inc as a permitting superintendent and planning forester from 2014 to 2019. Aiden'sfirst forestry job was as a forestry assistant at West Fraser Timber in 2013. Prior to that, they worked various roles as a tree planter and as a planting foreman at Gainer Resources. Overall, Aiden has expertise in cutting permit acquisition, silviculture, and timber development.

Aiden Wiechula RPF has an educational background in history, forestry technology, and sustainable forest management. They obtained their high school diploma from Brentwood College School in British Columbia in 2004 before attending Trent University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a B.A. Honours degree in History. They then attended Selkirk College, where they completed a diploma in Forestry Technology (Honours) from 2010 to 2012. Finally, from 2012 to 2013, Aiden attended The University of British Columbia, where they earned a Master's degree in Sustainable Forest Management.
