João Alves started their work experience in 2016 as a Cashier at C&A. In 2017, they worked as a Retail Sales Assistant at Bairro Arte. In 2019, they served as a Research Intern at Utrecht University. In 2021, they were a Research Assistant Intern at Ashoka Netherlands, where they contributed to the development of the 2022 Bioregional Weaving Labs Insights Report. João also worked as a Junior Manager at Fundação Príncipe, managing terrestrial fauna conservation projects and providing technical support to the field team. Currently, they are the Operations Manager at Land Life.
