Grant Prattley

Grant Prattley has extensive experience in rescue, training, and safety management across various organizations. Currently serving as General Manager at Over the Edge Rescue since 2014, Grant specializes in training, safety systems, and incident management. As a Course Instructor for Land Search and Rescue New Zealand and Rescue Coordinator for SARINZ, Grant focuses on training course coordination, development of assessment materials, and consulting services. Prior experience includes senior consultant roles in Risk Response and Rescue and operational tasks in Abseil Access Ltd, where Grant contributed to rock stabilization efforts after major earthquakes. Grant’s career began with the Department of Conservation as a Park Ranger and Emergency Services Manager, complemented by a Diploma in Parks and Recreation from Lincoln University and a degree in Search and Rescue from Tai Poutini Polytechnic.
