John Long

John Long is an experienced professional in the surveying and geospatial field, currently serving as Chief Remote Pilot at IntelliSpatial since July 2023 and also at Land Surveys since November 2020. John has held multiple roles at Land Surveys, including Chief Remote Pilot, Geospatial Coordinator, and UAV Coordinator. Previously, John worked as a Surveyor and UAV Pilot at Survey Dynamics Pty Ltd from December 2016 to November 2020, and also served as a Casual Academic/Research Assistant at Curtin University in 2016, tutoring on Photogrammetry and Laser Scanning. Additional experience includes roles as Assistant Surveyor at MNG - McMullen Nolan Group Pty Ltd and BE Survey Group between 2011 and 2015. John holds a Bachelor of Surveying with Honours from Curtin University, completed in 2016, following studies at Nagle Catholic College.
