Anton Mattle

Anton Mattle serves as the Landeshauptmann of Land Tirol since October 2022, overseeing responsibilities in finance, municipalities, personnel, arts and culture, and international relations. Prior to this role, Anton Mattle held various significant positions within Land Tirol from 2003 to 2022, including Landesrat for economy, digitalization, youth, family, and seniors, as well as First Vice President of the Tiroler Landtag and Member of the Tiroler Landtag. Anton Mattle was also the Managing Director of Elektro Mattle from 1991 to 2022 and served as Mayor of Galtür from 1986 to 2021, after previously acting as Deputy Mayor. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Radio and Television Technology and a vocational training in Electrical Installation.
