Ailla Wasstrom-Evans serves as the Conservation Defense Fund and Education Manager at the Land Trust Alliance since March 2022. Previously, Ailla worked as an Associate at The Prue Law Group, P.C. from November 2016 to February 2022, where responsibilities included negotiating complex real estate transactions and ensuring regulatory compliance. Prior to that, Ailla was a Legislative Attorney at the Legislative Commissioners' Office of the Connecticut General Assembly from February 2014 to November 2016, focusing on drafting bills and reviewing agency regulations. Ailla's legal career also includes an Associate position at Day Pitney LLP from September 2012 to February 2014, specializing in real estate and environmental law. Ailla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Saint Michael's College and a Doctor of Law from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
