Daniel Bibireata is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Landing AI since June 2019, Daniel thrives in the fast-paced startup environment. Prior to this role, Daniel spent 14 years at Amazon, where notable positions included Principal Engineer for Amazon Go, focusing on computer vision algorithms and research infrastructure, as well as Senior Software Engineer roles for the Fire Phone and Kindle products, contributing to innovations in image recognition, augmented reality, and online services. Daniel's early career includes a software development role at SOFTWIN and an internship at the Ohio Supercomputer Center. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Bucharest.
