Landis Communities
Evon Bergey serves as the Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer at Landis Communities since May 2016, and holds the title of Vice President for Community Initiatives. Additionally, Evon Bergey has been a board member at Eastern Mennonite University since November 2010. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Operations for Public Markets at Magellan Behavioral Health from January 2006 to May 2016, where operations were led for the Public Sector Division, overseeing Medicaid behavioral health services across seven states. Prior roles within Magellan and at Penn Foundation included positions of General Manager, Clinical Director, and Clinical Supervisor. Academic qualifications consist of a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Gwynedd Mercy University, and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Eastern Mennonite University.

Landis Communities was formed in September 2011 as a nonprofit organization. It is designed to coordinate and support a number of affiliate organizations which provide a range of Comforting Live-at-Home Services and Feel-at-Home Communities for those 55 and older. The mission of Landis Communities is to follow God’s call to creatively serve the diverse needs and interests of older adults by developing opportunities and collaborative relationships.
