Elitza Ranova, PhD, PCC, CPCC has a diverse and extensive work experience. Elitza started their career as a Research Associate at Baylor College of Medicine, Center for Ethics and Health Policy in 2013. From 2003 to 2012, they worked at Rice University as a Lecturer and Graduate Instructor. In 2014, they became the Principal of Bluebird Coaching and Consulting, LLC. Elitza also held the role of an Adjunct Professor, teaching Health and Wellness Coaching at Maryland University of Integrative Health from 2016 to 2018. In 2017, they joined The Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University where they served as an Independent Leadership Coach and CoachRICE Facilitator and Mentor Coach. In 2020, they took on the position of Independent Leadership Coach at The University of Texas at Austin, Leadership and Ethics Institute. Additionally, they are currently working as an Executive Coach at Landit.

Elitza Ranova, PhD, PCC, CPCC has an extensive education history in the field of Anthropology. Elitza obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Anthropology from Rice University, where they also earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in the same field. Prior to their graduate studies, Elitza completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology at the New College of Florida.

In addition to their academic achievements, Elitza has obtained several certifications in coaching and assessments. Elitza completed the PCC Markers Assessment Training at the International Coaching Federation in December 2019. In December 2017, they received training in the EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessment and 360 from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS). Elitza is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) after completing the program at the Co-Active Training Institute in July 2014.

Elitza is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation. Elitza earned this certification in December 2020 and also holds an additional PCC certification obtained in October 2017. Furthermore, Elitza is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) accredited by the International Coaching Federation, which they achieved in November 2014.
