Rina Sakuraba (she/her) - PCC

Rina Sakuraba has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Rina is currently serving as the Representative Board Director at the Japan Ontological Coaching Association (JOCA), starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Rina founded and served as the CEO of 35 CoCreation LLC / SANGO CoCreation since May 2020.

Rina has also worked as an External Board Member at Medley, Inc. since April 2023 and as a Coach at Landit, Korn Ferry, and BTS since 2022.

Before their coaching roles, Rina worked as the Chief Human Resources Officer at One Coin English, where they also held the position of Chief Operation Officer from August 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the HR Business Partner, Executive Officer, Japan HR Leader, and APAC HR Business Partner at GE Healthcare from 2016 to 2021.

In addition, they have experience working at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) Asia Pacific as the Regional Learning & Development and Talent Management Business Partner in Singapore and as the Head of Human Resources at AGCS Japan from 2012 to 2016.

Rina started their career at Rosetta Stone, where they held various roles including Senior Manager and Manager in Human Resources, as well as a Kiosk & Retail Sales Training Specialist from 2009 to 2012.

Rina Sakuraba's education history is as follows:

Rina attended Tamagawa University from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Rina then pursued further education at the University of Essex from 2003 to 2005, earning an MPhil (Master of Philosophy) in Applied Linguistics.

In terms of professional certifications, Rina completed the Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) from The Coach Partnership between 2020 and 2021. Rina also obtained various coaching certifications, including Newfield Certified Coach, Newfield Certified Team Coach, and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coaching Federation in 2021 and 2022. Moreover, they gained additional certifications such as Hogan Assessment Certification from Hogan Assessment Systems, The Leadership Circle Profile Certification from Leadership Circle, and DiSC Certified Facilitator from HRD* | A Leadership Development Company in 2022. Furthermore, Rina obtained the ITC Immunity To Change qualified facilitator certification from Minds at Work in 2021.

Recently, in 2021 and 2022, Rina attended The Coach Partnership for the Team Coaching Certification Program and the Health Coaching Certification Program.

In terms of their most recent certification, Rina obtained the TRE (tension, stress, trauma release exercise) certification from TRE, LLC. in June 2023.
