Matt Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Matt began their career with HM Forces in 1993 and worked as a Programme Manager for the Training Infrastructure Cell until 2020. In 2012, Matt worked for 45 Commando Royal Marines in various roles such as Motor Transport Officer, Equipment Support Officer, and Training and Development Officer. In 2014, they joined 45 Commando Royal Marines again as a Quartermaster. Matt also served as the Adjutant/Administration Officer for RMR Bristol from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are employed as the Head of Programme Development at Landmarc Solutions since September 2020 and has recently been appointed as the Operations Director.
Matt Hughes attended Cranfield University for an unknown period of time. In 2016, they enrolled at the Chartered Management Institute and completed their studies in Management in 2019.
Matt has obtained several additional certifications, including Management of Risk from AXELOS Global Best Practice in May 2020, Management and Leadership - CMI Level 7 from the Chartered Management Institute in April 2020, Level 5 Professional Diploma - Logistics and Transport Operations from CILT (UK) in 2020, and APM Project Management Qualification from the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework Partnership (SCQF Partnership) in 2019. Matt also received certifications in Project Orientated Environmental Management from Cranfield University in 2019, Risk Management from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in 2019, Capability and Acquisition from Cranfield School of Management in 2019, Managing Successful Programmes from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2019, and Requirements and Acceptance from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom in 2018.
